Tetracycline Resistance

While the UTexas iGEM team uses the Golden Gate system of cloning, PhytoBricks use the MoClo standard. Because of this, very specific primers were needed to ensure that the new PhytoBrick had proper overhangs.

Source

BBa_K2657001 was isolated TetR type 8B Golden Gate Assembly part plasmid from Barrick Lab. Using primers, PhytoBrick overhangs and restriction sites were added.
